Butternut Squash
This is one of my favorite vegetables. There is nothing more satisfying that a bowl of hearty butternut squash soup on a cold snowy day. I really like the way the colors came together in this painting - the peach, oranges and greens. To keep it cohesive I even signed in a muted green shade so as to make the signature blend in more. I don't think I have seen this squash painted by anyone before so quite happy I tried my hand at it.
