Brush holder on easel

The easel prior to the hack.

Some time ago I had whined to D about how I had no where to set down my wet brushes and how I looked like Edward Scissorhands trying to hold all 7 of them in my left hand while I painted.

He came up with this cool solution that was functional but also looked good. He got the narrow vase from the local Thrift store and used some old pine that was bored, cut and drilled to specification. He then sanded it down and gave it a quick coat of lacquer and attached it to the easel. He says its a bit crude but I say "Wow" and "Thank you sweets".

Cheap brush holder!
